Founders Values presents Discussion of the Law of the Sea Treaty
(3/27/2012) 6:30PM - Bible Fellowship Church- 808 Old Baltimore Pike Newark, DE

Do you know what the Law of the Sea Treaty is?

Do you believe that there should be "juridictional limits" on the ocean areas that countries may claim?

Should we pay a tax to the UN for shipping goods across the oceans, for moving around the globe or simply for fishing or exploring beyond our coastline?

We are co-hosting this event with the First State Patriots and bringing in Steven Groves from the Heritage Foundation to discuss the Law of the Sea Treaty. This treaty will affect livelihoods and recreation while furthering the UN's mission to control our waterways. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE - COME FIND OUT WHAT'S IN STORE FOR DELAWARE.

Delaware's Media Situation
Delaware is facing a crisis. Yes we have high unemployment, out of control spending and consistently rising tax brackets but there is a larger problem and a bigger shortage. Our top problem right now is a total lack of truth from the so-called 4th branch of government. Our media in Delaware is dropping the ball. Delaware can do better. Founders Values has the goal of educating Delawareans and we are going to do just that. We're launching a new initiative this month. In honor of our Founders who believed that an informed citizenry is the surest means to a safe and sound Republic, we are launching "The Delaware Patriot". The Delaware Patriot is a new website where Delawareans can turn to get the truth on the latest news.

Delaware's Education Situation
Last night during our Signs of Socialism meeting, one of our members asked the group about a Referendum that passed in New Castle County recently by 26 votes. It took place in the Christina School District which has been overrun by mismanagement and is a poster child for how NOT to conduct business in education. The government solution? Throw money at the problem. Individuals living in the Christina School District saw their property taxes go up $226 over the next few years. Doesn't sound like much right? But where does it end? The answer is that it doesn't. There are stories linked below that are key to understanding the problems with Delaware's education system as well as the man who for all intents and purposes has taken over the system here in Delaware.

Stay up to date with what's going on in Dover. The First State Patriots have an excellent Legislative Report that is published every week. We urge you to check out what is going on in Dover.
